Sadly the popular Toyota Urban Cruiser will shortly be discontinued world wide.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser is based on the also popular Suzuki Brezza.

According to Toyota South Africa the current Toyota Urban Cruiser will still be for sale, but a replacement would most likely follow. What would replace the Urban Cruiser you ask ? That is still open for speculation at this stage.

So should one be concerned if you are a current owner or a prospective buyer, not at all. You will still have backing from Toyota South Africa and the Toyota Urban Cruiser is still a value proposition.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser is still one of Toyota’s success stories, selling around 1,900 units per month and a total of around 14,700 since it launch here in SA .

Other alternatives (based on pricing) being outsold by the Toyota Urban Cruiser and Suzuki Brezza are the Chery Tiggo 4pro; Haval Jolion; Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger to name a few.
